Our Mission
To extend grace by walking alongside the working homeless — offering a hand-up, not a handout — so they can rebuild their lives, restore their dignity, and move forward in purpose, guided by grace.
Kristin's Story
36 years old
Saint Charles County

Kristin came to The Grace Period as a recovering addict in need of housing. She was clean for two years and lived in a hotel for over three years with three children. She was motivated and willing to work hard to get back on her feet. She deeply desired stable housing and wanted to fix her credit and rental history.
Fast forward to today, Kristin has graduated from our program and accomplished the goals she set for herself. She has moved into a trailer with her children, has worked her way up to a management role at her current job, and her children have also been thriving in school. She has developed some savings and now has a better understanding of her finances.
We are so proud of Kristin and her family! Huge accomplishments like this are what drives us to keep reaching out to the working homeless and pour into our community.
